Life is a twinkle in the eye of the beholder.

Sometimes we fight with each other in families, friendships, relationships and as a

society without realizing just how short life is.

Whether life is cut short or we live to be 80...life is precious....we all need to enjoy it more than we do.

Dart88...You can rest assured that your mother is in a better place. We all will see our loved ones and friends one day and this life will be nothing but a blink of the eye.....until then......LIVE.....

Members of the Armed Forces

Father, our troops have been sent into battle as peacekeepers. We petition You, Lord, according to Psalm 91, for the safety of our military personnel.

This is no afternoon athletic contest that our armed forces will walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the devil and all his angels. We look beyond human instruments of conflict and address the forces and authorities and rulers of darkness and powers in the spiritual world. As children of the Most High God we enforce the triumphant victory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus stripped you, Satan, of your principalities and powers, making a show of you openly. Our Lord and Master defeated you. All power and authority both in heaven and earth belong to Him. Righteousness and truth shall prevail. Nations shall come

 to the light of the Gospel.

We petition heaven to turn our troops into a real peacekeeping force by pouring out the glory of God through our men and women in that part of the world. Use them as instruments of righteousness to defeat the plans of the devil.

Lord, we plead the power of the blood of Jesus, asking You to manifest Your power and glory. We entreat You on behalf of the citizens in these countries on both sides of this conflict. They have experienced pain and heartache; they are victims of the devil’s strategies to steal, kill and destroy. We pray that they will come to know Jesus Who came to give us life and life more abundantly.

We stand in the gap for the people of the war-torn, devil-overrun land. We expect an overflowing of Your goodness and glory in the lives of those for whom we are praying. May they call upon Your name and be saved.

You, Lord, make known Your salvation; Your righteousness You openly show in the sight of the nations.

Father, provide for and protect the families of our armed forces.

Preserve marriages; cause the hearts of the parents to turn toward their children and the hearts of the children to turn toward the fathers and mothers.

We plead the blood of Jesus over our troops and their families. Provide a support system to undergird, uplift and edify those who have been left to raise children by themselves. Jesus has been made unto these parents wisdom, righteousness and sanctification. Through Your Holy Spirit,
comfort the lonely and strengthen the weary.

Father, we are looking forward to that day when the whole earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Thanks to you..your wife and 9 year old daughter for your Service... friend of Kelley1996

"Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted."

Father of mercies and God of all consolation, You pursue us with untiring love and dispel the shadow of death with the

bright dawn of light.

Comfort Your family in our loss and sorrow. Be our refuge and our strength, O Lord, and lift us from the depths of grief into the peace and light of Your Presence.

Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, by dying has destroyed our death, and by rising, restored our life. Enable us therefore to press on toward him, so that, after our earthly course is run, He may reunite us with those we love, when every tear will be wiped away.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

I dream of a place where I can be understood,

such a place where finally,

I can be myself.

I dream of a place

where people need not be told anymore

what to do,

because they already know it,

because finally,

they’re already guided by their hearts.

I dream of a place

where people can be brothers,

where people can be friends,

where people can be people

and remain to be a people of the sun.

I dream of a place

where I can paint the world

and sing to it my songs;

where I can dance

when I’m filled with joy;

and where I can cry

when I can no longer hold back

my soul.

I dream of a place,

where we all can dream,

and make those dreams come true;

where clouds are as soft

as cotton candies,

and where stars are fireflies

that roam the night;

where children

laugh

and play

and run;

where wings can fly us

’round that magic sky.

Where we don’t have to worry

and where don’t have to wait

for a brighter tomorrow

and a happier today.

Where we can all walk down life’s road

in one direction,

walking hand in hand,

and side by side.

I dream of a place

no further than a step,

of a world

no further than a kiss.

For this world is all we need to have

if we could just

forget,

forgive,

GRANDPA REYNOLDS, GRANDPA LAWRENCE AKA "PIPPI" and MR. RODNEY RONDEAU grace the paint scheme on my tribute car.
this one hits close to home.

I lost my Grandpa Lawrence earlier this year in April. Grandpa Lawrence served time overseas in Vietnam and was truly a great man. He had an experimental surgery for his leg pains go wrong and was relegated to crutches, then a wheelchair for the last 14 years of his life. But that d**n sure didn't keep him down. He was a fighter. He came to every one of our birthday parties and he was always at every family outing. The best part was that everytime someone saluted him, he always was kind enough to salute back with the same kind of emphasis from his time overseas. This man, truly a sweetheart.

I also cannot forget my other Grandfather Robert Reynolds, whom my dad says I'm so much alike. Dad told me that everytime we visited grandpa and grandma, I would run down the hallway and into the living room and jump on his lap. Well the most painful thing was one day (I was really young) I ran down there...and I came back and I asked "Where's grandpa?" He was a great man as well, having made a career working for Pratt and Whitney and served his time during World War II. Dad says I get my love of working with my hands from him. Dad says that he sees the same work ethic and care for being "neat" (I have EXTREMELY neat handwriting and I keep things more organized than average guys do) as he did.
Grandfather Reynolds was a front gunner in the Pacific theatre of World War II in the U.S. Army Air Force and more than likely he served in a B-26 Marauder.....Young and brave, so many gave so much!

Mr. Rodney Rondeau also graces my wonderful car. Great friend of mine Ethan Rondeau's father. I never got to really know who he was, but I hear he was a fantastic dad and he loved his racing. I also know that he did some work for this country as well, with Ethan's stories he's told me, and Kelley and others. Ethan misses you, and I am d**n proud to put you on my own car, as well as your son's car.

ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS. REST IN PEACE GUYS. THIS ONE'S FOR YOU. ENJOY THE RIDE. LOVE YOU ALL.

First off I would like to say that this dedication race is very important to me. And I'm glad all the support everyone gives for others loses. As you guys know I lost my mom last year due to Heart Disease. It really hit my family hard. But the support from you guys definitely did help. My moms fiance at the time saw the comments that you guys were putting up when I told you the news, and he actually started to cry.

So, I wanted to run a car, that kind of resembles what happened. I did not make this car, I got it from Jvanzdt of MRG. He was kind enough to give it to me. It's a very nice painted car, with the sponsor Heart Association on it. He couldn't find the file because it got stolen, so he just gave me the dds. It was originally the #45 dodge. But I was able to tweak the dds to make it a chevy. I was thinking and I knew I couldn't change the number without screwing the whole car up. So, I was thinking, and I realized that she would have turned 45 this year, September 3rd. How lucky is that. I know it has all the contigs and everything else on it. Even if it's not allowed in any contest or anything, I would still like to run this car no matter what.

I appreciate your guy's kind words when my mom passed. And I'm extremely happy you guys are running this event. I'm really looking forward to it.

Condolences to Chieftokealot and Triples... Chief lost both parents recently.....

Even when we don't understand we have to trust God's Will and that they are in a better place now...
your family remains in our hearts..thoughts and prayers

As I set here and type this so many thoughts run through my head. The loss of my brother when I was 14...the loss of family members and friends along the way and an inncident that happen to me 6 years ago. Until last night in a race room have I talked about it and I would like to share it with you guys now.
I went to a concert 6 years ago in Rhode Island with my wife and a couple that we hang around with. By now you probably know where I am going with this.....yes.... I was at the Great White Station night club show when it caught fire and killed 100 people. The only person I have ever even mentioned it to is Ultimate...and even then...I never told the whole story.

In short...we went to the show and we were running late (because of me of course) and we had to stand way in the back. It was 15 minutes to show time and we could not wait for the show to start..I am a child of the 80"s so I was really glad to watch one of my favorite bands perform. As soon as the show started we knew what had went wrong..and the 4 of us turned and walked out the front door. We figured...they will put it out and we will get to go back in after......as every one knows now ...that did not happen. We heard people screaming and there were about 50 people stuck in the door way trying to get out. I ran back to the door to try and help...but my friend and my wife grabbed me....and I stood there until the fire was so hot the I could not stand there anymore...and I watched people burn......I watched people burn. I did not sleep for weeks even months.....I still hear them sometimes when I sleep....I get 4 to 5 hours of sleep now after 6 years. For years I felt guilty for living...now I see things differently....it was not my time. With this dedication race..it gives me a little more healing of the soul...God Bless the families that were affected by this horrible accident.
