Chase Started With

In a DOMINATING Performance.... a NON
- CHASER (Hello ThiZZ....lol) get's the 2009 NRL Chase
started with an extremely impressive win!!! Racing for
the team of Extreme Performace Racing... the
adjective... EXTREME... seems an appropriate word to
describe just how good Hea dbussA338
was in this one. YA YA... Bussa did that "Hat Trick"
thaing.... setting a new record while securing the pole
position... then he led the most laps while cruising to
victory with minimal trouble!!
Oh yeah... for those who are not
familiar with the "hello ThiZZ" note... It was ThiZZ who
expressed concerns that it was "impossible" for a non
chaser to win a Chase race since we not only extended
the number of Chasers to 14... but the Chasers are also
guaranteed a track A slot as long as they show for roll
call. Well.... there were 3... countem... 3 non-chasers
on track A for the New Hampshire Race.... and a Non
Chaser not only took the win... but is now atop the
individual standings of the Team Tourney... which will
award trophies for individual performances during the
Chase. AWESOME JOB Bussa !!!!!!!!
Purity52... racing for DaleReynolds
Racing... represented DRR well with a solid 2nd place
finish. Here's is Purity's take on the race....
"Saturday's running of the
Sylvania 300 kicked off the 3rd NUFF Racing League Chase
for the Cup and the first ever Team Tournament. Coming
into the race the focus was on the 14 racers who raced
their butts off all year to make the chase after
Richmond. However the first chase race showed even the
best were prone to issues. starting with the absence of
2nd place in the points Dale Reynolds and 2 time
defending champ Abbottazz, the field was wide open for
ground to be made up. And it didn't end there... Sitting
on the pole for his second nuff race was HeadBussa. He
turn ed
out a new lap record with a time of 27.588 eclipsing the
previous record held by Snopro504. The green flag flew
and 7 laps in the point leader had issues. thegift got
loose in 3 and 4 and TBdesigns had nowhere to run
getting into him. gift hit the wall and had a red
engine. he blew up around lap 125 suffering a huge blow
to his day. He wasn't the only chaser with problems. The
Proffesa himself a.k.a Kelly1996 finally had a
miscalculation in race strategy as his old xbox
overheated at lap 25. Other chasers having issues
included ipcbillythekid and triplex who were part of a
melee in 3 and 4 which brought out caution as well
around lap 90. The last caution that we had was around
lap 200. Prior to this wils had been keepin an
impressive pace with bussa while most of the field dealt
with tire and handling issues. However bussa was too
strong. On the restart purity dove low on wils heading
into 1 and gave him room. bout 10 - 15 laps later,
purity got by and went after bussa. Bussa just kpt
gettin smaller though and drove off lapping everyone but
purity , who is d**n lucky he didnt get lapped as well i
might add, as he had about a 1/2 second gap on head as
head took the checkered flag. The rest of the top 10
went ultimateassin,chuck1979, mwils1,tbdesigns,sabloo,
kapalua with the track b win, yoeasy and reindeeriv. big
ups to kap who also picked up the truck and pro-am wins
this week.

So with the the top 4 racers in the
Chase either missing the race or experiencing
difficulties.... the Chase standings saw a BIG
shakeup!!! Purity52 now leads the way after his strong
2nd place finish...sporting a 15 point lead over
Ultimateassin :::WELCOME BACK Ultimate!!! :::. Not only
that but if you check the standings... only 70 points
seperate the top 10 Chasers !!!!! So even with the bad
luck from TheGift and Kelley... just showing for the
race allowed them to stay within striking distance while
Mr DaleReynolds and Sir abbotttazz have some MAJOR work
to do to get back in it.
As Purity stated.... Kapalua capped
off a strong week by taking track B and earning 15 bonus
points. That's a great job Kap!!! Also take note that
Kapalua is just outside the chase and looking for an
opportunity to get in. He will get that chance if we
have a Chaser with scheduling conflicts and not able to
race. If that happens Kap's results will be converted to
Chase points as he is the first alternate looking to get
in.
How bout the Team Tourney!!!!
Kelley's EPR team had perfect attendance, a winner
in Bussa, a
pole in Bussa, a 3rd place finisher in Ultimate and a top 10
finisher in Sabloo !!!! WOWOWOW!!! With that performance
EPR jumped
 out to a 200 pt lead over doze Udda Mudda
Fuddas of UMFM!! YA YA.... Led by
xXChuck1979Xx's 4th place finish... the UMFM team took
4th, 5th :::Mwils1:: and 6th :::TBDesigns::: in the
Sylvania 300 to secure
2nd place in the standings while Tazz Motorsports...
despite missing team leader Abbotttazz... still had 3
team members race hard...led by Kapalua to hold 3rd
place as we roll into Dover!!
Of Course HeadbussA338 leads the way
in the individual standings with his win... followed by
Purity and Ultimate!!

Kelley1996 and UltimateASSIN29!!! Yall have to check out
the upcoming show this Saturday for more of the same....
