Aight Nuffers.... I know it's been a long time since you've heard from yours truly....LOL!! Dats not by accident...... ole Mwils1 has been dealing with so much this year he....ya that's third person for "I"... have been just trying to maintain....errrr...what's the word... sanity?? 

Well after some HUGE changes in the NRL.... Mwils1 and the NRL look forward to even a brighter future than before!! YA YA !!!! So now I can get back to doing some of the things I enjoy.... which includes writing these corny articles many seem to enjoy....

With that said... LET'S GET RIGHT TO IT !!!!!

This week we all met up in the mountains for the Pocono 500.... the 14th race of the 2009 Sprint Cup Season !!! Big time Congrats to TheGift....bringing home the 2nd victory of his NRL career at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA!! The win did not come easy.... as there were quite a few Nuffers with very strong cars throughout a great race!!! Matter of fact... Track A enjoyed green flag racing over the first 60 LAPS..... WHAT?!?!!?  YUP..... and other than an unfortunate mishap early on that caused impacting damage to Sir Abbotttazz... many cars were still strong when the first caution hit. Ahhh...but then we started losing frontrunners to damage.... Pole Winner Kelley.... one of my picks to win this baby... tried to avoid a spin by Duecey. Kelley was successful getting around Duecey.... but not much luck with the inside wall.... which blew him up.... mannnn... disappointing as Kelley was doing a great job saving his car for a strong finish. Soon after, Chuck... the other of Mwils' favorites to take this one... suffered a bit of damage to slow him down... and Mr DaleReynolds also took damage. That opened the door for racers like Kapalua.... who raced WONDERFULLY...... DueceyDu and Mwils1... to challenge TheGift with just 40 laps to go. Ahhhh... but EA would have to have their say....lol... A sudden shutdown of the Track changed the whole race!!!! Noooooooo !!!!!     ya.......... The race was restarted with 40 to go and all had fresh cars.... the track conditions changed like night n day... and with all remaining racers receiving new cars...... welll.... you know where I'm going.... CONGRATS GIFT!!!!

In a GREAT race for positions 2nd through 4th....DueceyDu outlasted Kapalua and Overall Points leader DaleReynolds to take 2nd place...... his second ....second.....lol.... place finish of the week!! Ultimateassin....also sporting a win here at Pocono... rounded off the top 5. Other than that unfortunate shutdown..... just a GREAT race from everyone !!!! Extremely pleasant environment on track A..... whatchoo say?????  YA.... TRACK A !!!!

Now over on Track B..... Officiated by awesome Nuffers TurboTodd and AK7FAN.... there were only 5 cautions for the whole race !!!! OUTSTANDING !!!! Give it up to REINDEERIV... in posting the victory on track B. With that victory Reindeer has earned 15 bonus points in the standings AND a guaranteed track A entry into next week's LifeLock 400 at Michigan!!! CONGRATS Reindeer !!! Newcomer Sabloo and another Nuff Favorite...IPC BillytheKid rounded off the top 3.... GREAT JOB Fellas!!

Sooooo... how bout the PRO-AM sitcheeation.....lol.

Check this out.... we almost had our first WIN-WIN weekend of the PRO-AM Series. TheGift did his job in the NRL... and it looked like his partna Carl Edwards was gonna finish the job..... NOPE.... Cableman's Partna Tony Stewart continued a solid 2009 season with a strong win while Edwards finished 2nd!! Check this...... The max points that a team can attain in a weekend would be 390 pts... we talkin 195 pts apiece from each racer.... TheGift and Carl Edwards came close.... picking up a whopping 370 pts! WOWOWOW...that might be a record!!! With that performance....  TheGift/Edwards gained 96 points in the overall standings on the PRO-AM Leaders
DaleReynolds/Mark Martin!!

Also posting "Team Top 10" results this week were:
XxChuckxX (8th)/Jeff Gordan (4th) and Reindeer (10th)/Montoya (8th). Great Job !!

Rememba Nuffers.... the TOP 14 teams will race for the Trophy at the end of the season!! The Kelley/Gilliland team now has that 14th slot... but barely!! Kelly/Gilliland are only 2 points ahead of the Cableman/Stewart team.

I know one thing...... with some new Nascar PRO Racers available.... like Michael Waltrip and David Reuttiman.... it's time for some of us to consider a change. I can't keep holding Dale Jr up...lol... He gonna have to COME WID IT sooner than later...lol. I'm trying to negotiate a trade with Sir Abbotttazz for Jimmie Johnson... but for some reason...Abbott... all of a sudden.... no speaka da english...lol. C'mon Abbott.... you are the numba 3 car in the NRL... that's Dale Sr.... that would make a perfect fit.... Dale Jr as your partna... Dale Sr would be proud of you Sir Abbotttazz!
