TheGift Get's 5th Win of Season..Charging Hard on Frontrunner DaleReynolds

Oh Oh Nuffers... Don't look now but the Centurion Boats 400 at Watkins Glen produced some SERIOUS results !!!! Man oh man I had no idea so many Nuffers liked racing treacherous road courses.... and I ain't one of them...lol.. YA YA... a WHOPPING 35 Nuffers came out Saturday to force a 3 track split!!! Week in and week out lately that's the only word I can think of to even come close to what these Nuffers are accomplishing... whopping...lol... or how bout.... Unbelievable!! What was also "out of this world" ... was that all 3 tracks finished this race in less than 2 1/2 hours... on manual cautions?!?!!? Each track raced wonderfully... with only 5 cautions TOTAL..... YUP... Combined between all 3 tracks!! Track A ran over 50 laps green...  Track B did close to the same while Track C ran over 60 laps green!!! KURAYZEE Talent up in hea !!!

With NRL Sprint Cup Frontrunner Dale struggling a bit lately... he must be looking in his rearview mirror... cause TheGift3399 is charging real hard toward the front!!! After two straight 2nd place finishes over the past two weeks of lessons from "The Professa" Kelley1996... TheGift picked up his 2nd win in just over a month.... and his 5th win of the season to tie Mr DaleReynolds24 for the lead in victories!! Oh it couldn't have been an easy afternoon for TheGift.... who started 6th and amongst a field so evenly matched. We had 4 Nuffers post 1.09 sec prequal laps... 4 more posting 1.10 and the remaining field had 1.11zzzz.... WOWOWOWOW !!!!

Seems every time we talk about road courses... it's TheGift and Dale "stopping the presses"....lol.. Let's go back 1 year... After dominating this race last year... It appeared that TheGift had a victory in hand but a late penalty cost him the win and who benefitted?? Yup... Dale did...lol.. Fast forward to Infineon in the current season.... Dale's most recent win of the current season... to give him what was his season leading 5th victory. So here we are at "Da Glen"... and this time TheGift not only took the win... he gained 122 points in the standings ON THIS RACE ALONE....... and is charging hard on Dale now only 66 points back!! He earned his 5th victory of the season... tying Dale for the lead in current season wins...lol... Errrr Dale??? Is TheGift harassing you dawg...your own teammate?!?!? Take him to da Woodshed out back.... lol...The only thing TheGift lost this weekend... was his track record...set last year... but broken this year by 4 Nuffers... with newcomer and NNS Series Winner Luckisonmyside..setting a new record at 1.09.025!! OK...  That's 2 "runner-up" finishes and now a Win over the last 3 weeks!!!                                             CONGRATS and AWESOME JOB Gift !!!!

Nuff Newcomer... Jordan Lawler...takes 2nd place in his NRL Debut!!! YA YA Jordan!!!! while Sir Abbotttazz continues to race strong all year... with yet anudda top 5 finish... taking 3rd place. That is now 13 Top 5 finishes for the year for Abbott !!!!! WHOA... only DaleReynolds..with an astounding 16 top 5 finishes over 22 races... and TheGift :::also 13::: have as many as the 2 Time and Defending Sprint Cup Champ!!!

Now... over on track B.... it was Sabloo doing the job and taking the Win.... 15 bonus points to get a top 5 overall  in points for the race... And a guaranteed Track A slot at Michigan next week !!! Sabloo is really charging hard towards those precious 14 chase slots after starting mid season. Does he have eNuff time? Tell you what... if Sabloo keeps performing the way his has been... there is a chance!!! It's a hard task but it appears this Nuffer is up for the challenge!! GREAT JOB and CONGRATS BLOOO!!!!

To be so young.. XJew CurlsX has to be one of the most mature Nuffers in the house. Though only 14... he races and socializes with respect and has earned nuddin but accolades from his peers... old and young. GO HED Curls !!! He also shows he can race with the big boys... taking 2nd place on Track B while the always steady and dependable XxChuck1979xX rounds off the top 3!! Awesome fellas !!

And let's not forget about Track C!!! Derrick0929 was da man!! He kept it clean all race long as Track C ran lap after lap after lap.....after lap....green!!! It wasn't an easy one for Derrick as Kapalua and Reindeer were right there with him over those final 30 laps. But great pitting strategy by Derrick gave him the win pulling away. The win earned Derrick 15 bonus points of his own... and no less than a guaranteed Track B slot at Michigan next week. Check this Nuffers... though Derrick raced Track C... after the merger.. Derrick finished 12th out of 35 Nuffers... and better than 10th overall in points earned!!! Hot Dayum!! Congrats Derrick!!!!

Kapalua was strong all race long to take second place while ReindeerIV returned to the NRL scene to post a solid 3rd place finish on Track C!! Good Job Boys!!

All in all... a great weekend of racing!! Thanks to all my Nuffers for patience as we had to hastily prep a 3rd track.. doing so without much delay... and then running manual cautions on a road course.. you boys got it done..as stated before .. in less than 2 1/2 hours!!!

Aight Nuffers... Next Week We head to Michigan !!!

Purity52 took the Lifelock.com 400 back in June... but his schedule has been very tough lately... something tells me with Purity so close to the Chase... he just might make it to defend !!

Also The NRL has dedicated this race to the home state of our struggling Auto Industry.
Many Nuffers will be driving special cars with minimal sponsors... like this one !!!
