show up and show out !!!! This weekend we really showed
out....lol... first with a great race... in which Mr
DaleReynolds24 will write about.... and then a custom
car showcase/contest!! YUP... Part of this weekend's
celebration included many Nuffers first creating... then
racing... and then entering their custom designed cars
in a contest that's currently under vote!! Any and
everyone is welcomed to vote... SO GO... nawww... first
you gotta stay and read the article... den you can go
vote! I'll add the direct link to the contest at the

FIRST AND FOREMOST... I want to
apologize to Scoutchuck... by the way... your track B

the contest!!! Though both designs are HOT... Here is
the one Scout intended for me to post to the contest....
it will go on the home page in honor of his wonderful
work and my weak attempt to atone for my error....
Take it Dale !!!!
A caution-free
:::wowowow ::::race set
the stage for how this race
was going to be run. A very
fast and multiple-grooved
racetrack made for exactly
that when the NRL Sprint Cup
Series rolled into the Irish
Hills for Saturday's
Michigan race.
A special one for the ages.
That is because since we
were in Michigan, the league
decided on running cars that
highlighted the car
manufacturers and their
corporate headquarters that
are a short ways from the
racetrack. Many drivers
decided to pull out some
very awesome and classic
cars for this race. DRR
owner Dale Reynolds went and
took a less-traveled route
and solidified his loyalty
to Chevrolet. But it is not
that fact that really caught
attention.

The fact that caught
attention was what EXACT
model he ran that turned
heads. Dale pulled out a
1996 Chevrolet Corsica LT,
which was never used in
NASCAR. Dale loves Corsica's
and he made the statement
known after his 2nd place
finish, breaking his string
of bad luck in recent races.
"GM if your watching, BRING
CORSICA'S BACK!" Exclaimed
Dale after the race. "I
don't know why you stopped
making them after 1996 and
that really is a shame, they
are great cars and I would
love to see Corsica's come
back to Chevrolet's line-up.
Corsica's can obviously
race, seeing as how we beat
out Lumina's and Monte
Carlos and Toyota and Ford
and Dodge with this car, so
you can't say it's not a
good car!" I don't know if
GM heard him, but if they
did, be on the lookout for a
limited edition 2011 set of
Chevrolet Corsica's!
Ryan Moyer finished 5th in
his Ferrari. Many wondered
why he ran a Ferrari when
DRR is Chevrolet-loyal. Dale
said in an interview on
Friday in the Media Center
"We love Chevrolet and they
understand that. They were
very much understanding of
the idea to run any
manufactured cars this
weekend, so they let us hav e
fun with the idea and that's
how Ryan was able to run his
Ferrari this weekend."
Ryan was strong the whole
race, running 3rd until
about 10 laps to go when his
new best friend Kevin
Kelley, once again, made a
late race pass on him, this
time it wasn't for the win.
The even better part was
that Ethan, who ran 5th the
whole race, and who also
could use some help trying
to secure his slot in the
points chase after Richmond,
Ryan let Ethan pass to take
4th.
One of the best overall
races for DRR thus far in
the season. Charlie wasn't
fast enough for the A-Main
track, but was also very
promising this weekend. Some
rumors were flying about
that he might not be staying
much longer at DRR due to
his performance, but in the
same press conference on
Friday, Dale said that "His
future with the team is
solidified until the end of
the season. I don't do
long-term contracts, and if
he decides he wants to do
something after the season,
then good luck to him. But
for right now, he's with DRR
until Homestead."
Ethan was the mosst recent
Michigan winner when he won
in June. As stated before he
backed up his 2nd career win
with a great top 5 finish in
the return trip to the Irish
Hills. "The car was great
all night. We just didn't
have the "it" factor that
really made us badfast but
none the less it was a great
points day. Gotta thank Ryan
for letting me pass there on
the last lap for some extra
points going towards our
chase beneficiary. The
Flowmaster Chevrolet Lumina
was great and solid all
day."
Ryan, who ran 3rd until the
end of the race as stated
above was happy with his
outcome. "We ran a awesome
race today with the Ferrari
today. We were strong there
on the first run but Adam
just out-ran us at the start
and never looked back. We
were fast but Dale had the
better long run car. We
could have kept up with him
if we had some cautions to
help work on the car, but we
didn't get cautions
obviously so we will take
the 5th place and go on to
Bristol where we always run
well."
Excited about the run his
team had, Dale said "I'm so
glad we all ran well today.
I would have loved to have
one of us walk away with the
win, but Adam was just on
rails the whole race. To be
honest, I'm glad I am even
back here in the post-race
press conference again and
have run a strong 2nd place
the whole race, because the
past 2 races have been big
disappointments. But I mean
3 of the top 5 finishers
were DRR cars and that's
what I'm very proud of."
Adam Paulson led 174 lap s
of 200, easily making it
look like a cake-walk. Dale
Reynolds ended his bad luck
streak and kept his Michigan
luck alive with the 2nd
place finish after leading
just 2 laps. Kevin Kelley
ended up 3rd in his EPR
Chevrolet Camaro. Ethan
Rondeau came up 4th after
leading 15 laps in his
Flowmaster Lumina, and Ryan
Moyer in his Ferrari came
out 5th. In a very
un-natural way, Ryan did not
manage to lead any laps
today, which is very
different from the driver
who has the most laps led in
the NRL Sprint Cup Series.
Abbott took a points hit
again after his retro Dale
Earnhardt Sr. Lumina blew up
on the first round of pit
sequences. Other notables
were Walt Hamrick and Brian
Bennett who finished well in
the top 10.

YAYA !!! So ThiZZ ....how do you feel
about your impressive victory!!!
"Well I think dale described the race pretty well. I
just wanted to say thanx to all the guys in my room I
never got touched by another car so that was good. All
around I finally had a race workout the way I wanted it
to, I was able to get out to a pretty big lead on the
first run and just kept the pressure on from there. Ive
had great cars the last couple of weeks and this one
finally came together for me.
After the race I was able to homebrew 5 gallons of
indain pale ale beer so ill have to name in victory
ale."
Hey Thanks Dale and CONGRATS to THIZZ
and the top 5 finishers on Track A
Now over on track B.... ScoutChuck
get's his first NRL career T rack
Win... taking a tough one...leading only 2 laps and
fighting off the dominant xJew Curlsx..who led the most
laps in this one. Awesome work Scout !!!!! That's the
first of many for this fast improving Nuffer!! With the
win...Scout added 15 bonus pts to his overall top 10
finish... and is guaranteed a track A slot at Bristol
next week!!!
How does it feel Scout?!?!?!
"What can I say? Woohoo! My first
league win! And I beat my team mate who led the most
laps! I purposely saved my car till thirty laps, taped
it up, and started shifting to third coming off the
turns. It sucked up; Curls called the inside and I oblig ed.
Third gear made the difference on the outside. Green,
white, checker finish. Make 'em Cry Motorsports finished
1,2, and 5. Congrats on a good race guys.
We had two DC early - Kap on lap one and maybe techen on
lap 61 (though he had damage). Yoeasy DC'd on lap 195.
From Sinners on back it was Engines. Cautions made for
only one green flag stop! Manuals probably would have
added one more. Duration 2:08, started at 8:20 and
finished at 10:28"
LOL.... GREAT STUFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK Here are your
