We require all members to use their Xbox Live Gamer tag rather than a nickname. Drivers can choose any available car but must reserve their respective car on our site
. You must use the same car for the season unless you receive authorization to switch cars. You can use any available truck for the Craftsman Races.
-
The league will consist of an unlimited number of individual drivers. It is understood that not everyone will make each and every race. . If you cannot make a race...no problem...I'm sure we will have 12 for each race. There is no penalty for missing a race...you only hurt yourself in the overall standings.
-
We will reserve as many cars as possible for the races...Again....it is understood that some will not be able to make race day....However...We want everybody who can make a race....be able to race....we will open as many tracks as needed to accommodate everyone for qualifying. Race results will be posted on the site within 24 hours following the end of the race.
-
THERE WILL BE NO RACES ON SUNDAY.
Except for the possibility of a makeup....All races will occur on Saturdays. The race schedule will be made in packs of 4 races, meaning all other races will be TBA until those 4 previous races are completed.
-
Show up as early as possible for each race...there will be a 15 minute grace period for each start of the race. The race host's will open up the race room for at least 15 minute practice session before qualifying.
-
.Races length will be between 50% in
length and 100% depending on the nights and track schedule. If races are
50%...wear will be at 2x.
ALL NUFF RACERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR A 100% LAP RACE EVERYTIME.
-
To maximize flexibility...all races will be unranked and private. We will send an invite to all those who are prepared to qualify, and race on race day. Races will be run on Veteran - damage full, Yellow Flags only. Too many glitches with Black flags. We still expect clean racing and will admonish black flag racing.
-
NO
INTENTIONAL CRASHING -- Accidents will happen and retaliation will not be tolerated. If you are seen causing intentional wrecks you will be booted from the league. If complaints about your driving style are sent to me you will be warned and if incidents continue to occur you will be booted from the league. It is your responsibility to make friends out on the track, don't be a jerk or a fool and we won't have any problems.
All NRL members, This is your
first and last official warning
for rule #8. No more warning are to be given out. Anyone who
breaks this rule will be issued a 1 race suspension or more if needed.
Please be respectful to all NRL members and adhere to the rulez.

If
there is a disconnection we will pick the race up where it left off with
the top 3 drivers leading the pack during the first lap of the restart. No quitting during a race. In the event we have to many disconnects due to EA servers, the host will close the room and open another. After the race has started and if no more then 4 users get disconnected the race will continue. Certain circumstances will be tolerated and left to the decision of the track admin. But if you are seen quitting during numerous races then you will be removed from the league. If you get caught up in a wreck and your car won't run with the field that is understandable and tolerated.
-
NO DRIVING BACKWARDS ON THE TRACK...PERIOD. You will be booted from the league immediately and replaced.
-
Causing cautions on purpose to bunch up the field will not be tolerated.
-
Cheating will not be tolerated. If a driver is found to be using mods or hacks of any kind you will be removed from the league.
-
Mistakes will be made out on the track, and nobody wants to give or receive penalties, but we all need to be held accountable for our actions. If any driver violates the rules on the track, a warning will be issued by a race official. Rule violations will be tracked for the purpose of penalizing repeat offenders. The first offense will be a warning, the 2nd offense will be a points reduction, the 3rd offense will be a 1 race suspension, and the 4th offense will result in expulsion from the league.
DISCLAIMER
-
Drivers that are off the pace for any reason should stay out of the line or racing groove when being approached by faster cars. We all have bad days and there will be times when you go down a lap or more for whatever reason. When this happens please give way to those drivers that are on the lead lap. Give them plenty of room to get by you. It's okay to fight to get your lap back or to fight to stay on the lead lap, but if you just can't do it, please give way. Simply let the leaders know where to pass you (i.e. high or low) then give way. The favor may be returned to you some day.
-
Be careful when bump drafting. Bump drafting in turns won't be tolerated unless you are communicating with that racer. If you are seen bump drafting in turns causing wrecks to happen or I am notified of it you will be warned for the first offense, penalized points for the second, suspended for the third and removed from the league if continued.
-
This is a professional and serious league. If you are seen fooling around, being disrespectful or lack of sportsmanship you will be removed from the league. We all want to have a good time out there but its your own responsibility to follow each and everyone of these rules. DISCLAIMER

Qualifying In the event we have more than 12 drivers we will have track assignment qualifying session prior to the race. The top qualifyers will be assigned to Track A...thn Track B and so on.... We will hold as many qualifying sessions as needed, to determine the top qualifyers for track A. Once you have been assigned a track...you will then qualify for starting positions.
In the event of a tie, the racer with the most points in the standings get
the postion.
The maximum number of racers per track will be limited to no more than 8
racers....when there are more than 8 racers scheduled to race...there
will be multiple tracks created and the racers will be EVENLY
Distributed and assigned to the Tracks based on their Pre-qualifying
Results. For example...if there are 10 racers on race night...the TOP
FIVE racers (Qualifying times) will be on Track A and 5 racers will be
on track B. Either way...The qualifying sessions are for determining
track assignments ONLY. Once track assignment sessions have been
completed...each track will have a pre-race qualifying session 2 minutes
before the scheduled start of the race. The results of these pre-race
qualifying sessions will be the official start positions for the race
and standings. Those qualifying on the secondary tracks will have there
times fall in line with the primary track. Example...if there are two
tracks running (tracks A & B) with 8 racers on each track...The top
qualifier of Track B will hold the 9th starting position in the total
standings
ALERT: THE QUALIFYING TIMES WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED UNTIL ALL QUALIFYING
SESSIONS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.
Track assignments will be issued at least 45 Minutes before the schedule
race.
There will be no talking during qualifying. If you talk you will be warned on the spot. if you talk again we will enforce a penalty against you.
- Individuals who are having problems
connecting with the host will only be given one-two chances to get into
the race. If you are having these problems
Click here to try and resolve this issue.
. All officials have the right to make an instant decision if no rule is established on any arising new issue. Then the issue will be brought to discussion for evaluating if it needs a new rule or should be on a base by base decision.
-
Any racer who gets a
penalty has the right to appeal the ruling within three days of the race
ending.
-
Any racer who wants to
switch to a different driver after the season has started will forfeit
100 pts, in the standings.
-
If Racer A gets disconnected from the track they will remain out of the
race, and considered off the track, until everyone gets disconnected.
Then we will invite everyone back into the race except those who have a
blown engine, and etc. We are giving a 10 lap grace period for
Racer A. If all racers disconnect before 10 laps have gone by Racer A
will be re-invited back into the race with no penalty. If all
racers disconnect after 10 laps, Racer A will go down however many laps
after 10. When Racer A gets reconnected he will start at the back of the pack.
If
approximately 25% of the assigned racers get disconnected from the
race...then the Track Admin has the authority to shut down the track and
recreate the race with remaining laps. For example...if Track A has 8
racers and 2 racers disconnect...then the Track Admin can restart the
track. THIS option is left to the Track Admin to decide on a case by
case scenario.
Ex. 1 Racer A disconnects on lap 30 All other racers disconnect on lap 39. Racer A and everyone will be re-invited into the race and Racer A will start on the lead lap.
Ex 2 If Racer A disconnects on lap 30 and all other racers disconnect on lap 46. Racer A and everyone will be re-invited into the race and Racer A will start -6 laps down.
-
NO PRIVATE CHATTING WHILE
IN RACE !!
-
All
drivers must join the forum. This is the best way to relay messages to
all drivers.
-
The Maximum Points available to any racer who
prequalifies but do not actually race is 50 Points in the standings.
All tracks in a race will be merged together
based on COMPLETED Laps at the time the winner of each track crosses the
finish line. Since the higher qualifiers and most likely the faster cars are
on Track A .... Track A will have a 5 lap grace period over Track B, Track B
will have a 5 lap grace period over Track C...etc. When all tracks have
completed the race..The Lap
Grace ONLY APPLIES to Cars that are NOT on the Lead Lap when the race is
over....
For example:
Track A
A 500 Laps
B 500 Laps
C 1 Lap Down
D 8 Laps Down
E 30 Laps Down
F 180 Laps Down |
Track B
G 500 Laps
H 500 Laps
I 2 Laps Down
J 10 Laps Down
K 28 Laps Down
L 200 Laps Down |
Track C
M 500 Laps
N 500 Laps
O 9 Laps Down
P 125 Laps Down |
Final Results
A - Lead Lap 500
B - Lead Lap 500
C - Within 5 Lap Grace over Track B 500
G - Lead Lap 500
H - Lead Lap 500
I - Within 5 Lap Grace Over Track C 500
M - Lead Lap 500
N - Lead Lap 500
D - 8 Minus 5 Lap Grace Over Track B = 3 Laps Down 497
J - 10 Minus 5 Lap Grace over Track C = 5 Laps Down 495
O - 9 Laps Down 491
E - 30 Minus 10 Lap Grace Over Track C = 20 Laps Down 480
K - 28 Minus 5 Lap Grace over Track C = 23 Laps Down 477
P - 125 Laps Down = 375
F - 180 Minus 10 Lap Grace Over Track C = 170 Laps Down 330
L - 200 Minus 5 Lap Grace over Track B = 195 Laps Down 305
Notice that driver E received 5 laps over Driver K...then both Driver E and
Driver K got 5 Laps over Driver P...so Driver E get's a total of 10 Laps
grace while Driver K received 5 lap grace...so Driver E was able to stay
ahead of Driver K in the final results.
This concept will be applied to all tracks within a race when merging the
final results.
-
PASSING:
Slower cars and Lapped cars that are off the pace will be asked to yield
the preferred racing groove to the faster cars. However all drivers
shall respect the braking points of other drivers. The trailing driver
shall brake earlier when following another driver to avoid collisions.
The drivers shall not make diving pass attempts entering a corner. A
driver shall abort a pass attempt if he does not have his front axle
past the rear axle of another driver entering the corner.

VERBAL BLACK FLAGS
Since we do not run with “auto” Blacks Flags as issued by Nascar 08…The
Race official(s) may issue a verbal black flag to a racer who violates a
rule which justifies a Black Flag. It is left to the Race official to
use discretion as to what violation justifies a “Black Flag” during a
race. If you have been "Black Flagged"...you must pull into the pits
within 2 laps of the announced penalty. You may do a drive through in
the pits. If you have been Black Flagged and do not agree with the
ruling…you MUST adhere to the order of the race official during the
race. After the race, you may submit a protest of the ruling to be
reviewed by Nuff Admins. Normal procedures on protests will then be
followed.

Setup Sharing:
Still Pending approval
The NRL is a bond...and was created to establish and enjoyable, friendly
racing environment for online gamers affiliated with
"Nuff"...affectionately called "Nufferzzz" In that spirit... we will
require that any Nuffer that wins a NRL race must share their choice of
either their QUALIFYING or RACING Trim with their fellow Nufferzzz after
the race. Winning Nuffers are asked to post the selected setup in the EA
Locker and the code file name “Nuff” immediately after the race…and are
asked to leave the file in the EA Locker until midnight on the following
Tuesday of the race won. Each Nuffer will then have to go to the EA
Locker and download the setup…then the file name can be changed
individually by the downloading Nuffer. We will also have a "Member's
Only" section for car setups in the Forum that is viewable by Nuffers
only. It would be much appreciated that when the EA Locker is down…or
even in addition to publishing the selected setup trim on the EA
Locker…that the winning Nuffer post their setup in this password
protected forum. Though honesty is desired...we will be able to tell if
a setup shared by a winning Nuffer is faulty. Nuff admins appreciate the
Nuff spirit that allows us to post this as a Nuff stipulation.

INACTIVE RACERS...
An Inactive racer is defined by the NRL as one who does not race or
communicate in the NRL for a period of 4 consecutive weeks. If you do
not at least communicate with the NRL admins within that time
frame...your car will be made available for new Nuffers or those wishing
to switch cars. If you had any gamer points they will be forfeited
back to NRL
