IJEREMY COMES BACK TO TAKE SAMSUNG 500 !

Abbotttazz who???? The NRL overall standings got a little tighter last night after another crazy night of racing as ijeremy…and his #1 car wins his second race of the season…the Samsung 500 in Texas !!  Ijeremy was definitely the favorite going in with Abbott not present for this one…as he stayed out front for most of the race over on Track A….and finished a wild but very good race with a serious comeback with only 2 laps to for the win !!  CONGRATS ijeremi !!!

Where do we start????  This one was like a roller coaster ride….EA servers had their boxing gloves on….but so did the NRL! On Track A…we lost Bostonsox around lap 40….then we lost Big Mike around lap 100…and soon after we lost casa. At that point we decided to restart Track A. Though we were not sure if Boston had engine problems…we were sure that Big Mike and Casa fell prey to the EA servers. Once we were able to speak with Boston..we realized that Boston had lost connection as well. So all were re-invited back to the race with Boston and Big Mike many laps down…and Casa on the lead lap. At the time of casa’s drop…the question was…did Jeremy have enough car to finish??? His engine was yellow with still well over 100 laps to go. But losing casa gave everyone a fresh car and put Jeremy right back in the driver’s seat. …Right around lap 280…we lost Buster…who was really the only challenge to Jeremy…then within 2 laps..we lost Tyberian. Since both Buster and Tyberian lost connection so close together…I decided once again to drop the red flag and restart in accordance to the 25% drop rule. Then it really got exciting !! With Jeremy and Buster ahead of the pack and fighting through the final 40 laps…casa and mwils sitting 3^rd and 4^th…and Tyberian 1 lap down looking for a “lucky dog” opportunity. Tyberian got it when Buster…in the #16 car…clipped jeremi in turn 1 and spun Jeremy out!!! Whoa !!!!!  “My heart dropped” said Buster…knowing that incident may have cost Jeremy the race he dominated throughout….Was Jeremy pissed????   LOL…..errrrrr…let's just sayyyyy...jeremy was pretty ...errrr...happy...NOT ! 

But this is how CLASSY your NRL racers are…during the restart and less than 10 laps to go…Tyberian finally out front….jeremy was able to move right through the pack and even past Buster to challenge and eventually pass Tyberian around lap 365. And that’s how we finished…Jeremy..Tyberian and Buster taking the top 3 spots. “I thought it best to let Jeremy by instead of possibly getting a revenge hit to knock me out of position” Said Buster ….A very smart move by Buster !! Said Biffle..."To be perfectly honest, winning a race because you knock someone out of the way didn't mean you were better. It just meant you were willing to give something away in an attempt to get the win. If you want to do that, that's fine. But when I wake up in the morning, I want to know that we won the race [fairly]."

Tyberian really struggled with his #41 car through the entire race. But at the end…Tyberian found himself in front with a chance to win !!! And finished second !!  AMAZING !!

Now over no Track B….

there were 5 racers after …..Unfortunately ….a few no shows. TBDesigns was able to take Track B and 1600 gamerpoints. Also to show the class of your fellow racers…only 3 racers…TBDesigns…Pinkpooh and KCKevin were still around to run over 250 laps all by themselves. Man…that had to be tough….Many thanks fellas…for your perseverance. Ratty and lsu mysteriously “no-showed” for the race and there MIA status is currently under review.
