Outlasts Osuron to Take the O’Reilly 300

13 Nuffers  got together for the O’Reilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway last night…..When it was over..8 Nuffers were party to and witnessed just a Beautiful Race….with long green runs…pitting strategy and overall top notched racing !! “
Just Brilliant !!!” said mwils…speaking of the race overall and especially the performance of your winner…Bustersnm!!!

The EA Servers were in a bad mood last night…forcing the NRL to split the race early on. Through normal attrition…the NRL was able to combine the race with 8 Nuffers remaining at lap 100…and finished the race together. So once again…the NRL PREVAILS !!!

Ron set a track record for Busch Cars at Texas with a KERRRRAYZEEE time of 30.100 !!!! Sno was next with a 30.266…and Buster rounded off the top three qualifying times with a 30.300. These times are unbelievable !!! “Man…I thought I had a good car”…said mwils…who’s best time during prerace practice was a 30.521. Matter of Fact…8 of the 12 Nuffers had sub 31 sec qualifying lap times !!!! These Nuffers ain’t no joke !! “You can’t just beat the AI cars during practice”…Mwils went on to say….”You need to demolish the AI cars in RACE trim”…said Jeremy…”At least a half second lead over the fastest AI Car”…. Oh wellll…..Back to the drawing board…lol

Buster has quickly escalated his skills to that of a force to be reckoned with in the NRL !! He put his skills on big time display last night….taking over the race with about 60 laps to go…and holding off a fast charging Osuron over the last 20 laps. Impressively…the Nuffers raced under the green flag over the last 60 laps….resulting in all Nuffers having to take their last pit under green racing conditions. AWESOME !!!!!!! Buster (#17B)…who already pitted with just under 50 laps to go…had enough fuel to finish the race…but was rightfully concerned about his tires. Knowing that the field would have to pit again….safely and methodically cruised around the track in 3^rd place…behind Jeremy and Osuron from lap 120-150…attempting to save his tires. Jeremy…who also ran a strong race…had a dilemma…Did he have enough gas to stay out front and finish? After several laps of close monitoring…Jeremy realized he would have to bring the #18B car in for a splash of fuel…and get back on the track ASAP to maintain his lead. Jeremy did go in around lap 165..and though he was only in the pits for a short time…the “Taxi” restrictions on pit lane speed allowed Buster to get by Jeremy to gain the lead. Ohhhh…but prior to then…Osuron….who was MASTERFUL as well….also had to go in. Ron…with a commanding lead…but also having to pit… went in for a full pit under green…realizing that the trend of the race indicated that there might not be many cautions. Ron brought his #178 car in…knowing he would lose the lead…but confident he would have enough time to regain the lead…..almost did it….When Ron came out of the pit…he was about 20 seconds behind front frontrunner Buster…with 22-24 laps to go. Sure enough…there were no more cautions……the race was gonna finish under green...and that led to some great racing !!!Ron charged really hard…gaining at least one second per lap on Busters…who by then was fighting with worn tires…lol. With only 10 laps to go…Ron was less than 10 seconds behind and picking up almost 2 secs per lap. OHHHHHH…Da Drama………lol!! Other than a small “hiccup” trying to get around a lap car…which probably cost Ron a second or two… the way Ron was flying…he probably only needed 1 more lap….ahhhhh to no avail…..Buster survived the onslaught !! WOWOWOWOW !!!!!

So Buster breaks Jeremy’s 3 race winning streak with his BRILLIANT victory….and will move into the top 3 in the standings. Osuron…in his first Busch race…finished a VERY STRONG second…It won’t be long at all for Ron to contend for the Championship if he is able to consistently race. Ratty….:::who???::::  YES RATTY…who was able to connect and finally get on the track…raced impressively as well…and snuck past Jeremy at the end to take 3^rd place !! Jeremy…the Busch Series Leader through 5 faces…finished in 4^th and Mwils rounded off the top 5. Pitt Steeler…who is currently in 3^rd place in the standings…finished a strong 6^th and actually gained on Snopro…who was in 2^nd place before this race. Sno finished at the back of the pack and will lose a spot or two in the standings.

WOOHOOOO !!!!!!!  Great Job all around Nuffers !! Exciting Stuff !!
