Jeremy Get’s By Abbott for 6^th Busch Win!!

The Carquest Auto Parts 300 hosted 11 Nuffers at the Lowes Motor Speedway last Friday night….with all but 1 able to successfully connect and race in this one. The first 25 laps suffered through 6 cautions…with the last one requiring a restart. After a slight reprimand from Mwils on the cautions….everyone stepped up on the restart and the race only had 3 cautions over the final 175 LAPS !!!!! Now that’s how we do it !!!! This one took less than 2 hours to complete.  YA !!!!!!!!!!!!

How bout Ijeremy !!!!

Jeremy takes this one with a pass on the final front stretch of the final lap..getting by Abbottazzz and taking home his 6^th win of the series. I think Jeremy is on pace to establish a record for Busch Series’ wins that will be extremely hard to break!!! Jeremy was racing in the middle of the pack at the beginning of the race but decided to make a small wedge adjustment….and just like that….he was a frontrunner the rest of the way!!! That win now gives Jeremy at 500 point lead over second place in the overall standings!!!! With 17 races to go…..is it too late to catch him Nuffers???? GREAT JOB AGAIN JEREMY !!!!

 With the long green runs….pitting was definitely part of the strategy in this one. You couldn’t get a lap down because it was sooooo hard to gain the laps back….again…with the long runs !! Five Nuffers managed to stay on the lead lap through all the green flag pitting…and Mwils missed getting back on the lead lap with a lucky dog by just one lap after the final caution….which occurred with just under 10 laps to go….DAYUM!!!!  lol

Abbotttazz was just as strong in this one and was only a half a car length away from victory and the furious finish!! The Tazzman finished second while Pink Pooh….who was extremely impressive…rounded off the top three !!  Osuron….who set a lap record for Busch Cars with a 29.566 lap during qualifying…led most laps to take him the 10 bonus points…leading 80 laps. Osuron was definitely the car to beat in this one…..welll….at least through the first 180 laps…LOL. Ron got really loose at the very end…which allowed the Top three…Jeremy, Abbott and Pink to get by at the end. Nevetheless…Ron finished 4^th in his first Busch Race. “errrr…what car was he driving???”   lol 

Sooooo….let’s take a look at the overall standings including the Lowes results. Of course 6 wins in 11 races have Jeremy wayyyyyyy out in front. As previously stated….we still have 17 races to go….can anyone catch Jeremy?!?!?!

Mwils benefited the most after his 6^th place finish. Mwils catapulted two positions to take over 2^nd place from Pitt Penquin by 9 points !!! Pitt…who finished 9^th …. does have a strong 36 point lead over 4^th place Nuffer….Kmack…who really took a hit last night not being able to connect properly to the race. With the likes of SnoPro, Pink, Abbott, Buster, Big Mike, Duecey, SEVEN….and many more talented Nuffers hovering below the Top 3….there is plenty of time for either Mwils and Pitt to run away with the 2^nd and 3^rd slots….or lose them to a very talented field….

Ohhhh….did I ask if anyone could catch Jeremy??!?!?!    LOL
