 ABBOTTTAZZ PUTS STOP TO STREAK

In a DOMINATING performance…NRL frontrunner Abbotttazz put a screeching halt to the NRL Nextel Series Streak that saw 7 different Winners over the last 7 races before Saturday’s Toyota /Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway…the first NRL Road Race of the season.

Ladeeda...::ahhh...it's good to be the king:::

Abbotttazz staked his claim to this one early…posting a whopping 1:11.066 lap in the qualifying session to set a COT record at Infineon. WOW!!  I wonder how long that record will stand!!!! Abbott and his #31 car went on to lead 90 of the 110 laps and finished off his hat trick with the victory!! Several times during the race…Abbott lapped the ENTIRE FIELD!!!! The only real challenge to Abbot was Ijeremy in the #01 car…who..after a few cautions near the end of the race…gave Abbot a bit of a scare…keeping pace and right on the #31 car’s tail until Jeremy slipped negotiating one of the 12 treacherous turns during the last few laps..giving Abbott some breathing room to secure the victory !!  CONGRATS ABBOTTTAZZ !!!

13 Nuffers prequalified for this one…11 showed up for race time and 6 survived !!!  lol… Many fell victim to Infineon’s turn 1-2…a sharp..uphill left… then right turn that shocks the system while flying across the start/finish line.  Losing control at this spot will pretty much take you out !!

Ijeremy finished a strong second and had the second fastest lap time of 1:14.966 during qualifying. As previously stated…Jeremy was one of the few Nuffers to give Abbott a challenge in this one. Jeremy ran a very smart race…staying out of trouble when negotiating the field and keeping his car safely on the track for most of the night. That slip in the final laps may have cost Jeremy a chance at victory…nevertheless…Jeremy was strong !!

Seems like every week…KCKevin sets a new personal best…this time finishing in 3rd place to round out the top 3 Nuffers!! Very impressive KC !!! Over the last 7-10 laps…KC could hear DiscJockey on his tail….”Come here 10 car !!”  But…like a bratty kid that won’t listen to his momma… KC would not obey…lol. Great Job KC !!!

DJ (#96)…in his second NRL race…settled for a fourth place finish and is quickly gaining notice and respect from Nuff Vets with his impressive performances !!

Buster rounded off the Top 5…and was the last Nuffer to finish the race on the lead lap. Nice job Buster !!
