Busters Slams Door on Osuron to Take Autism Speaks 400 At Dover!!
Woooooo Dawgie…. If you missed this one…you missed a great night of racing at Dover International Speedway!! 16 Nuffers didn’t miss it as the NRL ran two tracks on Saturday Night…with 14 of the 16 racers completing the race in just over 3 ½ hours !!! The Autism Speaks 400 was very competitive on both tracks to the very end. Despite early cautions a plenty…both tracks experienced several long green runs…which kept most Nuffers on or near the lead lap!!

Osuron…coming
off a great win in the Busch Race on Friday Night…was again….the car to beat!!
He was the only one during prequals to get under 24 seconds…and though he fell a
couple of laps down during the second half of the race…Ron fought back hard and
was in position to challenge for the win during the final lap!! Osuron won this
race last year and was definitely the favorite going into this one…and showed
why….with the record setting prequal lap securing him a slot on track A…:::errrr…what’s’
new?::::…. Then taking the pole on track A….an And of course…the ever steady Jeremy took 3rd place to push him further up in the overall standings after a slow start to the season. Jeremy was right in the thick of it himself until he took a nasty bump at the end…spinning him out. But Jeremy recovered nicely to secure a 3rd place finish !!! Ohhh…Jeremy will definitely be there when the chase starts! Now…over on track B….it was a 3 man race through most of the second half. SnoPro was extremely strong…as was UncleChucke….man…those two fought all night long…with TheGift hot on their trail…the intensity was as high as the competition…lol…for a minute I thought we were on track A!!! lol.. So who took track B????
With his second Track B win…TheGift outlasted both UncleChucke and SnoPro to take home the win !! A caution on the very last lap secured the victory as thegift was “Standin on it”….”Pedal to da Metal”… “All Nitro buttons on full blast”…. You get the picture…. He had to as UncleChuck was “in his back pocket”….”knocking down his back door”….”biting his heels”…. “in his _$$”……LOL!! With the victory…Gift secured himself a slot on track A next week at Poconos ::::WOOHOOOO!!::::. Gift also earned himself 10 extra bonus points for the win….which is extremely valuable this time around as 7 Nuffers from track A completed the race!! Great Job Gift!!! UncleChuck was also very strong in this one and took second place…while SnoPro…who may have had the fastest car on track B…rounded off the top 3. Again…great job fellas!! All Nuffers raced strong tonight on a tough track that was eating tires for breakfast…lunch...dinna…and a midnight snack !!! Newcomer xxCorruptxx handled himself very well in his first NRL race….and BIG TIME KUDOS to ADMIN4LIFE…who did not have the fastest car on the track….errrrrrr…lol…matter of fact..I thought I saw him going backwards there for a minute…lol. Seriously…ADMIN constantly worked to move out of harm’s way when the leaders came through….constantly advising them where to pass. And he stuck with it to the end!!! Gotta give it to him Nuffers…. I know some racers…who would have given up…faked a crash…disconnected and gone on bout their bizniz. But Admin was there….fighting to the end. I guarantee you with that kind of attitude…he will be a frontrunner soon enough. I know it means the world to you when you hear the Mwilster say….”I’m extremely impressed”….:::har har::: So there you have it Nuffers….another night of strong…competitive racing from the NRL. What I like most is how we curse each other out during the race…then we curse each other out after the race…then we curse each other out in the forum…then we curse each other out to our friends and family....::and pets::… then we curse each other out at work on Monday Morning… then we curse mwils1 out for getting the article all wrong….and then….lol… we are right back at it the next week. season….protecting a 13 point lead over the talented Osuron….by taking this one
in a gutsy move in the final turn to the front stretch!! Go BUSTA !!! With
Osuron hot on Busters tail going into turn 3 for the final time…Buster made sure
he cleared turn four without kissing the wall… AHHHH…but in doing so…he left a
bit of light for Osuron to attempt a strong charge on the outside down the front
stretch. “Ohhhhh no you don’t”….lol. Buster recovered from his low position out
of turn 4 and promptly slammed the door on the charging Ron…who wisely let up to
avoid a crash that could have cost him 2nd place !! WOW!!! So with
Osuron hot on Busters’ tail both in the race….and in the standings…Buster
survived in strong fashion! Congrats Buster !!!
