JEREMY WINS AGAIN!!

Takes 5^th Victory of Busch Series at Darlington !!!

 WOW Nuffas…the Diamond Hill Plywood 200 hosted 15 racers at the Darlington Track!!! The tracks were split with 8 making Track A and the remaining 7 on Track B. Smokey led the top 8 Nuffers in prequals with a whopping 28.266 lap time…followed by Jeremy’s 28.333. In fact, you had to be under 29.000 seconds to make track A!!!!!  

Ahhhh…..just another Friday Night of Good Ole Racing !!

Gotta give it up to Ijeremy !!!! Jeremy won his 5^th race of the Busch Season !! WOW Again…..that’s 50% of the total Busch races completed to date !! Of course it’s safe to say the Jeremy and his #18 car is running away with the Busch title…to date !! With this win, Jeremy now sports a lead of at least 400 points over the second placer Nuffer in the standings….and with Pitt not racing in this one…the rest of the pack has tightened a bit !! Great Job again Jeremy !!!! Should we call this the Jeremy Series???

Snopro took second and Ratty snatched 3^rd place on Track A….which saw 6 of the 8 racers that started the race…finish…and 4 on the lead lap when it was over. Also let’s give it up to Smokey…who earned 10 bonus points by leading the most laps…. Matter of fact…every racer other than Kmack…who had connection issues…led at least 1 lap. WOW a third time !!!!!!

Now over on track B….we had a rough start…with 10 of our 15 cautions occurring within the first 15 laps…lol…we just couldn’t get started!!! Once every one got the hang of it…we only had 5 cautions over the final 100 laps!!

Congrats to Buster, in the #17B car….who outlasted Mwils at the end to take Track B !!! This one was about car adjustments at the end. All race long, Mwils was getting strong runs coming out of turn 2 and down the back stretch…but Buster was strong in the short turns of 3 and 4. Right around lap 120, the 14^th caution came out and Buster went in to make some tire pressure changes. That wise decision allowed Buster to run stronger around turns 1-2…as lap after lap, mwils challenged Buster down low coming out of turn 2…but Buster was able to shut the door each time. With a green engine and running 40% tape, Mwils decided that on the next caution….surely there would be anudda one….lol…Mwils would add some more grill tape to finish the task out of turn 2. Well…the caution came out with 20 to go…and Mwils went in for new tires….but he FORGOT to add the Tape !!! ARGGHHHH !! Nevertheless….Mwils had one more really great chance to get by Buster out of turn 2…..with under 10 to go…Buster stayed low again to keep Wils from getting under him…but coming out of the turn…Wils got a great slingshot to the outside and saw daylight between Buster and the wall !!! So mwils was able to get side by side with Buster for a split second…Buster pushed hard to once again try to shut the door on Wils…and the cars went down the backstretch bumping paint until Wils let off to keep from crashing !! That was the race right there!! With only 4 laps to go and Buster with a 1 sec lead…which is a lot on this track…Wils was finally able to catch Busters draft in the final lap but had nothing for him in the final short turns of 3-4. Thus Buster hung on for the WIN !! Good Job Buster. Wils finished second and Dueceydoo got by BigMike at the end to take 3^rd place !!

This was a nice prep race for the Big One on Sunday in the NRL Nextel Cup’s second race of the young season!
