BUSTER SHOCKS THE FIELD AT DARLINGTON !!
GAINS FIRST NRL VICTORY!!

You had to be there to appreciate this one !!! There were so many storylines at the Dodge Avenger 500…run at 75%...you could write a best sella !! Man…where do we start !!
How bout with the winna !!!!!

BUSTA GET’S FIRST NRL VICTORY !!!
Now don’t get it twisted….it wasn’t a shock that Buster won the Dodge Avenger 500…less we forget Buster is in 2nd place in the overall standings. He didn’t get to be the 2nd best NRL racer to date on his looks…..heeheeeeee…This one started around 3 hours before race time. Buster was very concerned about his #16 car….”Man….I can’t find the right setup for this track”…said a frustrated Buster. So frustrated that he ran a solo practice so he can concentrate solely on preparing for the race. “Look…..all I want to do right now is finish ahead of Ijeremy”…sitting in 3rd and just 8 points behind Busta. But that was asking a lot as Jeremy has been on a ROLL…and looking like a frontrunner again for this one. Well…Buster’s work helped him prequalify for track A…”At least that’s a start”…said Buster. During the race…Jeremy (#1) and Kwala Bear (#38) were constantly battling…which was a story in itself…and NRL leader Abbottazzz was lurking …quietly turning laps and looking for opportunity. So it was not gonna be enough for Buster to just make track A….he was gonna have to race hard on a tough track and hope that opportunity presented itself. Wellll…….with less than 10 laps to go …a caution bunched the field and gave Buster 2nd place behind Jeremy during the restart. When the green flag dropped….Buster shot past Jeremy just before the final caution of the race decided the final results…as all racers finished under caution…WOW !!!! So Buster accomplished his goal…staying ahead of Jeremy…but it took winning the race to do it as Jeremy finished 2nd !!!!

Pitting strategy was the key here as well….with about 60 laps to go…all racers were discussing who had enough to finish the race. Kwala and Jeremy were out front battling for 30-40 laps…and Abbottazz, Buster and Ratty were all on the lead lap not far behind the duel. With some timely pits…Buster and Ratty felt confident they had enough to finish…while Abbott, Kwala and Jeremy were thinking they may not have enough. Oh the suspense !!!
Kwala Bear…who was on probation for this race…had a tough feat ahead of him. Kwala was racing in his 3rd NRL race and has aspirations and enough time to get in The Chase for The Cup. Kwala had a very fast car…again…and had to race hard…but clean in order to satisfy his probation AND somehow defeat the likes of Jeremy…Abbott…Ratty and of course BUSTA !!! Well….Kwala did a WONDERFUL job of racing and was in the race till the very end. Not only that…but Kwala had to deal with the same racer…Jeremy..that caused his probation in the previous race. “I knew this would be wild!!” said mwils. Those two had the fastest cars on the track and they fought each other hard and as clean as can be expected. After 40 laps of just great racing between those two…and right around lap 260 of 275…Jeremy tried to get inside of Kwala but really hadn’t established clean position for Kwala to give in. So Kwala held his line and pushed Jeremy deeper inside. With nowhere to go but to let up…Jeremy tried to re-establish his line…but they ended up causing the caution that bunched the field for the exciting finish. Kwala successfully completed his probationary period and can move forward in his attempt to defy the odds and get into the Chase !

All cars on Track A were running when it was ova….just a great race !!!
With both Admins Buster and Mwils on track A…Pinkpooh was asked to take on the responsibilities of managing track B. Many Thanks to Pooh !!! In appreciation for his work…the NRL will reward Pink with a more generous reward for not only managing track B…but WINNING it as well !!! Congrats Pink !!!

PINK DOES IT AGAIN ! |
Now just when we get a few problems resolved over on Track A….Unfortunately Pink had a few challenges to deal with on Track B. After waiting a bit for a few late racers…including Polinino…and a rough start due to connection issues…Track B was finally able to get going. 3 of the 8 racers survived to the end. It looks like we may have a second consecutive challenge to NRL rule #8 which addresses retaliatory crashing. Early in the race…BTD apparently got into Polinino and caused a bit of damage. Not long after…Polinino got into BTD pretty hard and knock BTD out of the race. Some words alleged to have been said by Poinino that brings shock to the NRL admins and will be investigated. Soon after…Nino had to leave the race…..very uncharacteristic for one of the NRL’s favorite racers. Results of the investigation will be posted prior to our next race. ::::sigh:::::
Thanks again Pink !! BTW….I also want to thank NRL racers who are there every week…working on track B. They are the backbone of the NRL. Ya..you can say on paper that track A has the better talent RIGHT NOW….but racers like KCKevin…SEVEN…and Rob continue to show up week after week…fighting through enormous odds yet fighting nevertheless. I just want you to know you are extremely valuable to the NRL and your commitment is well noted and just as valuable as the likes of Abbott…Jeremy…Ratty….Big Mike….etc!! :::sniff sniff:::
OK….here are your final …
